Onsite early childhood training and consultancy have a vast amount of links and experience with a range of early childhood services across Australia and New Zealand that keeps us up to date with current practices as well as challenges faced in the profession. We also have experienced consultants that specialise in 0-5yrs parent and grandparent information sessions ranging from sleep and settling, understanding your child’s behaviour to encouraging development and self-esteem in our fast paced technological world.
Our sessions incorporate theorists who challenge and influence our philosophies and make reference to current Frameworks and Quality Improvement Systems such as Te Whaariki and Early Years Learning Framework where appropriate. Our research indicates that people learn best when we combine theory and physical practice. So we look for opportunities to include resources necessary for hands on interactive practice within the agreed time frame.
Our customised workshop time frames usually allow for question/spontaneous discussion time depending on the topic and needs of the service. The timeframe is generally a guide pending the amount of questions and discussion and therefore we are always flexible in our delivery. We pride ourselves on our transparency and utilise comprehensive feedback forms for all our clients involved in our workshops for our quality improvement process in which we are happy to also duplicate them for your own evaluation.
Our aim is to provide professional development experiences that leave a lasting effect. So we also like to incorporate tasks prior to the session, reflective questions throughout to expand educators capacity to think beyond their usual parameters, and provide follow up tasks to ensure all participants are transferring the knowledge that appealed to them into practice so you are getting the most out of the experience even after we leave.
