Customised Training/Consulting

The team of consultants at Onsite Early Childhood Training develops customised sessions and EYLF training to lead your team through change starting with your services individual goals. We start with a free phone consultation to get a clear understanding of your services unique needs, including EYLF training needs. We then design EYLF training that honours your educators dispositions for learning to make it an empowering, memorable professional development opportunity that perpetuates long term positive outcomes.

Customised training sessions are a specialty of our staff and we have a broad repertoire of topics available for customised training that we are confident can exceed the training expectations of all our clients due to our thirst and passion for knowledge.

Onsite early childhood training and consultancy have a vast amount of links and experience with a range of early childhood services across Australia and New Zealand that keeps us up to date with current practices as well as challenges faced in the profession. We also have experienced consultants that specialise in 0-5yrs parent and grandparent information sessions ranging from sleep and settling, understanding your child’s behaviour to encouraging development and self-esteem in our fast paced technological world.

Our sessions incorporate theorists who challenge and influence our philosophies and make reference to current Frameworks and Quality Improvement Systems such as Te Whaariki and Early Years Learning Framework where appropriate. Our research indicates that people learn best when we combine theory and physical practice. So we look for opportunities to include resources necessary for hands on interactive practice within the agreed time frame.

Our customised workshop time frames usually allow for question/spontaneous discussion time depending on the topic and needs of the service. The timeframe is generally a guide pending the amount of questions and discussion and therefore we are always flexible in our delivery. We pride ourselves on our transparency and utilise comprehensive feedback forms for all our clients involved in our workshops for our quality improvement process in which we are happy to also duplicate them for your own evaluation.

Our aim is to provide professional development experiences that leave a lasting effect. So we also like to incorporate tasks prior to the session, reflective questions throughout to expand educators capacity to think beyond their usual parameters, and provide follow up tasks to ensure all participants are transferring the knowledge that appealed to them into practice so you are getting the most out of the experience even after we leave.

Over this past year we have been fortunate enough to have Kelly Nickless from Onsite Early Childhood Training help us with customized training in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework into our preschool. Kelly has been able to give us valuable resources and support that enabled us to grow and develop as well as perform better as a team. The way that Kelly worked was great, she got to know us and was able to pinpoint and encourage our individual skills.

We valued the training so much that we requested further mentoring where we were able to not only learn more but also celebrate our growth since her last training sessions.

We have all found the time spent with her to be very valuable and it has enabled us as a team to go to the next level of care for the children within the EYLF and feel prepared in being assessed against the NQS.

Thank you from all the team and committee of Warilla Baptist Preschool- Sydney
